We are five women. We come from Tunisia and Morocco. We sometimes exist elsewhere. We are practitioners of text and visual arts. We form the collective Asameena and run its literary magazine of the same name. We do so from North Africa, with the ambition of welcoming texts produced in the Souths and their interstices. We work to open and consolidate an editorial space embracing literary forms insolvent or minoritized by publishing institutions and their unspoken rules.
